Ecumenical Leadership Development Training on Justice and Peace Building
“Justice Now: Sowing the Grains of Peace”
Date: July 17-21
Venue: Hope Center, Dhaka
Bangladesh

Twenty two (22) Youth workers and leaders from churches in South Asia participated in the Ecumenical Leadership Development Training on Justice and Peace with theme “Justice Now: Sowing the Grains of Peace” held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The training achieved to create common platform for the young people to identify the peace and justice concerns in their country and region and enriched them with skills to analyze the conflict, reconcile and transform the situation in an opportunity of peace.  Dr. Hope Antone prepared the soil with the theological affirmation of the peace and justice through Bible studies. Rev. Vinod Victor helped participants to deeply understand the conflict and consider all the factors involved in the conflict situation to transform them into the peace creating possibility.  Dr.Parichart Suwanbubbha brought the challenges to peace and reconciliation into the discussion and introduced the participants with skill of Dialogue to bring in peace. Participants planed to echo their learning through plan of action prepared by them during the training.
